- My sims has finished the mission in next town, I click him but the game crashed and jumped out. I can't blow his whistle to call him back. My sims cannot come and stay at the next town. I haven't saved my game to cloud for long time. I don't want to reset mygame, I afraid my game will lose the data. Now I don't click the sims who in next town and wait update to solve this problem.
I also had a Sim get stuck in a neighbor's town. It happened this morning, but I didn't notice an app update occur until later tonight (unless I happened to miss it). I've seen others mention that the issue involves an island bridge or a preteen, but I don't have either of those. I'm on level 10.
I sent one Sim over to the neighbors to make acquaintences and earn XP. I did this with one successfully, but another Sim got stuck. I was switching quickly back and forth between the visiting sim (neighborhood) and my Sims to keep them busy. My Sim finished "being nice" and has flashing XP, but if I click the Sm under the Sim tracker it crashes. Same thing if I click "Visiting" under the party boat. I'm visiting the standard "another sim town" and not a Facebook friend. Since the Sim is flashing "XP", I don't have the whistle option. Sometimes the app crashes a second time, and I have to open it a third time.
I've never backed up to the cloud since I didn't realize it was an option. Unless it's automatic, I won't have a backup, so I don't want to risk resetting the game. Ironically, I can't back up to the cloud because of the very problem of my Sim being away. I've tried logging out of Facebook and Game Center with no luck.
I spent all my SP in hope that it would call the Sim home, but that didn't work out.
I have a Sim undergoing an activity in the park. I went to the park and then tried to pull up the other neighborhood but the crash still happens, and the Sim doesn't return. I haven't tried yet to ask another Sim to move out of the neighborhood - I'll try that later.
I hope this bug can be patched soon. I've run into other more minor issues (such as the other neighborhood not having a pool or guitar required by the tasks) but otherwise the game has been going well.
- I had this same problem, one of my sims had been stuck in a neighbours town for months! But I found a solution that doesn't make you reset or delete anything! Just go onto settings & onto the keyhole icon & log out of Facebook, or Game Center depending on who's house your sim is in. Then exit the app and close it. Go back onto it and it's fixed! I not been able to play as it keeps closing on load in hear the sounds of the usual cheers and that that's when it shuts down. I have tried to open it 3 or 4 times same issue. And I only just started the event very early this morning now I just unable to play it any more period. Please fixed I miss my Sims 😢
- I'm so cunfused. I'm doing the Romantic Island quest and to get more sp, I sent my preteen to a neighbor's town to get some. I left the town with my sim still there and now I can't get her back. It's been almost a day and just just want her back in my town. But, whenever I go to my sim tracker and tap on her, my game turns off. I read a lot of things and they all say reset and that scares me because I had sims for 4 years! This has happened to me before and I waited for the next update and I was able to get him back but I can't wait another update because one just came out and it may be months until a new one comes. Some please help. I'm panicking right now.
