Sims Freeplay Android error 500

I keep getting the server error code 500, please help fix this!

We have recently experienced some problems with our servers that will have prevented some of our players from accessing our games and show the following error code: Server Error 500

We have since corrected the root problem causing this error to appear. If you have been affected by this issue, please try force closing your game and re-open it. This should allow your game to establish a fresh connection to the servers.

I am also having this problem on my Sony experia! How do we fix this as i've payed money for this!

i have the same problem... can anyone help...
originally it works for my galaxy note3 but i found thast the game didn't save my actions and kept going back to few hours ago. therefore, i unintalled it. it show error 500 after i reinstall it.

Same here on my sony xperia s, running jelly bean. I hope this doesn't turn into the simpsons to situation where an update messed it up at the beginning of the year and I haven't been able to play it since! Contacted EA about that and they told me they'd look into it and come back to me. Well, guess what? They never did!! I love the sims, and if they don't help I think I may just boycott EA altogether!!

This error thing is a pain in the butt. It would be nice to have someone actually get a solution to this problem. I took my samsung galaxy 2 android phone all the way back to factory settings and i still get the error message. At this point what is the point to have a game out there that you can't play.

I have the same thing happening to me on my galaxy SII. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing has helped. I wish this would be fixed soon.

I don't understand how this problem started. I have a lava iris 458q with android 4.2.2 and it downloaded just fine, got to the part where I needed to download additional data, but my wifi was over its limit and running too slow so I cancelled the update at 9%. Now my wifi is back up to speed and now I get nothing but the server error! Pisses me off that EA is so absolutely worthless in responding to customer inqueries!

I'm also having the same problem. i'm using an ipad as a hotspot for my laptop. used to work fine till today 2-23-1024.
