Sims Freeplay Nanny Knows Best task

I started the "Nanny Knows Best" task and have encountered two problems.  The first is that the nanny appears at every house, not just the one with the baby.  How do I make her appear only at one house?  The second is that my Sim seems to be stuck after completing the Follow Infant Obsessively task - I did receive notification that I completed the task, but now she's stuck; it's been hours.  Her status bar doesn't show her currently working on a task, but I can't pick new tasks for her and when I try to send her to work, I get a message that she's in the middle of a task.  The baby's status bar is "Follow Obsessively" and looks like it's only completed part of a long task.  How can I fix it?  I've tried quitting the app and opening it again, and I've even tried turning off my device and restarting, but nothing changed.

    I'm having the exact same problem. I can't do anything with the sim or the baby, can't send him to work, nothing.

    It finally worked itself out after a couple of days.

    I had the same issue. The notification said the task was finished but I could not select new tasks for the parent sim nor the infant sim. I could not even get the parent Sim to pick up the infant sim and put her back in the cot to end the "follow obsessively" task. I fixed it by selecting the map and then selecting another Sim's house. Then I selected the parent Sim in the Sim Tracker while at that house and from there sent the parent Sim to work. When I went back to the parent Sim's house the infant Sim was back in the cot (crib) and the task was ended. 

    The nany appears outside of every house for me too, but only goes inside houses with infants.
