Sims freeplay randomly added 3 hours to all my tasks?

Self explanatory. I even set a timer to let me know when some tasks were done, and I come back to find they have 3 hours left on them. Has this happened to anyone else? Just curious really, not much more than a bit of an inconvenience. Only thing is that it did the same to my influence island timer so I have a few less attempts now to get prizes.
