You're not the only one. The exact sane thing just happened to me.
I downloaded the most recent update, could play for a while, and then suddenly it started dropping out after the intro screen.
I hope others have had this problem because EA/Microsoft/Nokia have to fix it ASAP!

- I am seeing the same thing. It is bad enough that the law couple of achievements take forever now I am completely locked out of the game because ot constantly crashes back to home whenever the game loads.
