social tasks "read a neighbor's encyclopedia" won't progress

hello, i have a problem with the social tasks "read a neighbor's encyclopedia" since a few months ago. i'd already do it many times but still not making any progress. i don't know what to do, can you...

Hey there, @soosquishy.

That's no fun! When you are visiting a neighbor sim, such as through the party boat, what happens when you use the bookshelf and select Encyclopedia? Does it let you perform the action without counting towards your social task, or does it not allow you to perform the action?
