Struggling with the Easter Egg Quest?

Hey All so I'm playing the Easter egg hunt in the sims freeplay and the task asks me to get the egg hunter display case from the home store, I can see it, but the item is locked, how do I unlock it?...

Of course I did. Its says limited item just like the person who posted this. I have not placed the easter egg case yet. So it shouldn't say that.

It is in your personal inventory not the home store. Go to the decorations tab in your inventory and scroll all the way to the end. You will find it there.

if you go to the decorations tab in the home store it will say limited item because they already gave you one.

Yes I know that. Its says limited object and I cannot place it. Just like the person who started this thread.

I checked the inventory tab and it's not showing there for me. I also checked all of my sims houses just to make sure it's not there from before and I don't see it. Help!! I want to finish this quest and time is wasting!!

  I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulty finding your Egg Hunter's Case. There are two places to check if it is not already in your houses:
  
  Buy Mode > Decorations > Egg Hunter's Case. It should show Limited Object there, however it cannot be purchased from that screen. It's a good way to ensure you have the latest update.
  
  Inventory > Decorations > Egg Hunter's Case. You can access it from this location.
