I did have a bunch of neighbours via Facebook, and then they all vanished after a recent update. I'm not sure if it's because those neighbourhoods of my friends have been inactive for some time.
It'd be good to get some active neighbours via Google Play. I'm currently blocked on needing a long ride on an inflatable, when the in-game neighbourhood doesn't have a pool (I don't know why it gives that task in that situation, but there we are...)
My ID is gnuandrew. I have most items scattered around (level 59, been playing since 2016), but will try and turn one of the houses into a visitor house. I tend to end up with empty houses as sims age and then die.
Still no neighbours today, even thanks to all the lovely people on here who added me :-(

I sent you a Google play friend invite for the Sims freeplay neighbor. I've maxed out my levels so I have most everything in my town. Haven't done the downtown high school, downtown developer, or castle quests. I've never had a real neighbor, just the sample one so lots of things I had to skip/pay to get past so I haven't done it much.

Hey are you having trouble with syncing your new neighbours to the party boat, I have had so many people add me on Google play but can't see them on my party boat =( I've tried uninstalling the game I have tried uninstalling Google play games nothing is working just comes up with another sim town neighbour and that's it.. So confused =/
I am having the same problem that many others are. I'm not getting any neighbors in game even though I have added friends...
Any updates on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
Re-read the information on how to add neighbors in game, it only says how to add neighbors by using Facebook. This seems to be why GPG users are not able to add neighbors!! 😠
(Uninstalled the game. No longer playing.)
Still no neighbours here either, though I've added a lot of new Google Play players.
