[The Sims FreePlay] Careers

I am at level 23. on The Sims Freeplay and I have still not been able to achieve building anything more than the Salon besides building houses. I'd like to know how to get careers for my Sims and also how to buy them cars. Please help me out.

    You will have to build the car dealership in order to buy cars.

    What's the issue with building additional businesses? Don't you fulfill the requirements?
