The Sims Freeplay Unfair Timed Events

So I don't know if i am posting in the right spot but firemonkeys tech support sent me here to post ideas since apparently the developers read these posts often for ideas on new updates so here is my feedback and suggestions.

In regards to the community and timed events i think they are unfair in so many ways. It seems everytime i start a new game after not playing for a long time i get thrown into timed events at such low levels. Therefore i can not finish the quests within the time limit due to no supplies and therefore i end up getting next to nothing rewarded to me at the end of the event. During this new spa event i made it to level 7 on my new game and got tossed into the spa event right away. At the time i only had 7 lifestyle points, 1 social point, and 1500 simoleons and only 2 adult sims in the entire town. The event said i only had 12 hours to unlock EVERYTHING!!! that wouldn't even be possible to do in the given time limit unless i spend tons of real money on social point packs and lifestyle point packs. Due to having nothing i ended up getting nothing during this event except towels and bath mats but nowhere to put it. My friend had the full 7 days or whatever it was to unlock everything. Now she has a cool spa building in her town with everything unlocked and out of the entire event i only got towels and bath mats and nothing else. VERY UNFAIR!!! I know its all exclusive items but for those of us that came late we should still at least fet the same amount of time as everyone else in order to complete the quest. Or if that's not the case at least wait until the new users get to a certain point in the game with enough supplies to make some sort of progress. Another timed event that was unfair was the sunset mall. I had 1 day to upgrade the mall to the 2nd level or whatever. At the time i got that quest i was such a low level i didn't even have the mall unlocked or built yet so therefore i did not get the free clothes at the end. Either give the new users the same time limit as everyone else at the time they make it to the quest or wait until they have simoleons and resources before tossing them into the quest so they at least have a chance. Or an even better idea would be to make it so the people that did not get the items for free be able to purchase the items for simoleons or real money. I did not get anything during this spa update but the stuff everyone won for free i should be able to at least earn the same items by spending 800 000 simoleons on the items when i make that much or at least pay $5.00 real life money for the same items or something. Please developers make it fair for everybody. All your timed events are very unfair for those of us that come in late and don't have the time or resources to win anything. So please consider or something.

But what about all the other timed quests that are only 1 timers?? They still do not give enough time. The sunset mall timed quest to get the teen clothes or whatever asked me to upgrade the mall to the 2nd story when i couldn't even unlock the 1st oart of the mall at the time so i got nothing from that event. The mansion timed quest asked me to do it within the time limit to get the elevators and spiral staircase and they only gave me a few hours for that one so i did not get anything from that quest either. The snow park quest asked me to do something in the time limit to get skating rink stuff and they did not give me enough time to do that either so i could not get any of that stuff. And then the pool quest asked me to do the pool quest in the time limit to get pool slides and ladders or whatever for my own pool and i coul not get any of that stuff either. Alot of these timed quests seem to either not give enough time or expect you to have ALOT of free time in your real life in order to get things done in the time limit. But for those of us that work or have school courses or busy schedules these time limits are pretty impossible without spending real money if you do not have lifestyle points.

Thanks i will take a look at it. But all advice and suggestions and tips are welcome. At the same time even if people do not make the timed quest requirements we should still be able to buy the items for simoleons or real money just so we do get access to it whether we got it for free or just bought it. At least then we would be supporting the game devs by giving them money for the exclusive items and not having to get a little disappointed we didnt get what everyone else was able to get. Then its fair for everyone and everyone is happy. And from what i have read online they USED to make it so you can buy the items if you did not make the time limit but i think they stopped doing that because after the last few quests the timed limit items were not in the store after the event so i guess they stopped allowing users to buy the items which sucks.

    I'm experiencing the same frustration!!

I've been working on getting the Homestead furniture pack: woodworking.... 12 items unlocks a type of furniture/decor. Yes, it's 10 days longs. BUT.. The odds are NOT set up to get a new woodworking item even every other time.  I started off with two Sims doing the hobby. Then, I purchased more LPs (real money) to quicken the process.  Then I switched three more sims into woodworking hobby. I'd say the average success ratio is 1:5 sometimes 1:6 times that a new item is found! This is ridiculous. These are terrible odds, especially given that I've spent close to $40 on LPs. I'm fine with the money since it supports the game, but the odds are getting worse! Completely unfair!  This game used to be fun and relaxing. I've restarted my current town and on level 40. My past town that I deleted was up to level 55. But I'm ready to bail for the "ungameliness" of getting these packs.

The second time they brought the event back was a while ago so it is unlikely they will bring it back, which is annoying as I was on level ten when I did this event.
