Same here.. I bypassed it but still can’t connect to Facebook...

Not sure EA/Firemonkeys can do much other than ask FB to fix the issue as FaceBook messed it up

EA have no mandate to make changes to FaceBook or demand they make changes

I guess EA can drop FB as a partner and have us connect through other platforms (as their own EA/Origin)

I contacted fire monkey and these were their responses: if you still have Sims FreePlay in your apps on Facebook:

Go to https://www.facebook.com/
Click the Account button (top-right corner when viewing on a PC browser) to open the Account drop-down menu
Select 'Settings and Privacy'
Select 'Settings'
Select 'Apps and websites' from the list on the left (you may need to scroll down to find this)
Select 'The Sims FreePlay' (use the search function if you have many apps)
Check the setting for "Who can see that you use this app?"
If the setting value for step 7 is 'Only Me' then you will need to change this to 'Friends' so that your friends can see you in their ‘Neighbors’ list in the Sims FreePlay game.

I told them mine has been removed from Facebook, therefore i cannot do the above steps and their response was this

Please let me share that, we are receiving the similar contacts and many of the players are facing the same issue. Good thing is that, this has been brought into the notice of the Studio Team and they are diligently working to fix it as soon as possible.

I received the same email from them. I also received an email say that they have added the ‘generous’ amount of in-game funds, but have yet to see it. Has anyone received them yet and how much did they give you?  I also told them that this frustration is worth more than in-game funds, but that a generous amount of LPs and SPs would be nice as well. 

This is so incredibly frustrating. 

Ugh!!! I removed mine last night...I keep wondering if the thing to allow friends to see it would help and instead I removed it and can't get it back. Guess I will contact them. I have been using life points galore to skip neighbor tasks and finally found someone safe to be my neighbor (I don't want to add a bunch of random people to see my whole life) and can't get to her neighborhood because FB won't log in.
