trouble with simms free play

I have been playing Simms free play for about a month now. I have not only invested so much time into it, but I have invested a good amount of money into it. I went to play it today and 10-16-14 i, is showing a download and play. This is something I did when I installed the game and I am afraid if I press download that I will lose everything. Please let me know what I should do. I just made another purchase on 10-15-14
