Unable to demolish empty house

I have a house that I can't demolish. It says I can't demolish a house with a pet or Sim still living there, but there is no one there. The house is completely stripped, and there's no dishes, weathe...

make sure a pet is not in the pet park or elsewhere

This forum is provided by EA but is designed as Player helping Player, in this case we can not do much more for you

I only have one pet in my game and he's with another family safely in his kennel. He's never lived on that property. No Sim or pet has ever lived there.

  @47178538 Sometimes a home can’t be demolished while a Sim visits a neighbor, no matter if the Sim belongs to that home.
  You could also try to locate an item that’s blocked for whatever reason by deleting the rooms, patio and pool.
