UNABLE to do Fairies Quest "Wait for next event"

Question

I got a notification this morning that a tiny quest has started with fairies but the Magical Rainforest is STILL LOCKED saying "wait for next event" EVEN THOUGH I GOT A NOTIFICATION THIS MORNING ABOUT A FEW FAIRIES QUEST!!! I STILL CANNOT START THE QUEST DESPITE THE FACT THAT I *DID* RECEIVE A NOTIFICATION FIRST THING THIS MORNING!!!! Firemonkeys FAQ says to WAIT FOR A NOTIFICATION and I GOT A NOTIFICATION but I STILL CANNOT do the quest claiming "wait for next event" the boat itself is showing in color but NEITHER OF THE QUESTS NOT EVEN "Magical Rainforest" SHOWS THAT I CAN DO THE QUEST!!!!!

What I read on Facebook is that none of the quests have started because they are waiting to make sure no one has any problems with the update.&nbsp;

I'm also not able to do the fairy quest, I don't have Facebook either so I don't check updates there. Hoping it starts soon though! No glitches, it just isn't available even though I downloaded the new update.&nbsp;

The&nbsp;developers are waiting to make sure every player has a chance to download the new update and that no one is having problems.&nbsp;

I got the notice that the quest started. I got my flowers and a tricket to open the rainforest BUT I cant open next chapter even though i collected enough flowers.&nbsp;

To open the next chapter you have to send one of your sims to the rainforest. This whole chapter thing is a separate quest that is completed in sections as the community gets to each chapter.
