How do you destroy a wall

- I built a room in the front of my house then took it down but a small part remains and won't let me take the rest the way down

That's strange. Please upload the game save to the cloud then uninstall and reinstall the game to see if that helps.
- I built a room but it won't delete what's left of the walls will only allow me to expand room now it looks like another wall added on to the wall that exist,if I demolish house do I have to pay full price to rebuild? I can't upload a picture
Tap in the middle of the room to delete it. I've added two screenshots.
