Whispy sound on level icon

Is there a way to stop the constant whispy sound on the level icon. I know it is prompting me to look at something but I do not know what. When I do manage to find out what and the sound finally stops, it returns the next time I start the game. This is the most irritating thing I have ever encountered in a game.
