Why can’t I use the stack of magazines?

I have just started a new pregnancy event in my game and one of the tasks is to read a magazine.  Whenever I tap the super foods magazine option (with the pregnant sim selected) it doesn’t work!!  And this is the first time that this has happened, it worked fine he first time I did it but now when I click on the option it shows the blue footsteps and every other option works for reading a magazine, all of the other choices work.  It’s freaking me out because I want to be able to complete the event!!!  Plzzz help me!!!!
