I will not be making any purchases from the market place. I despised the Sims 3 store for the same reason that I am appalled at even the thought of a Sims 4 store, more micro-transactions and scamming people.
I get all my CC and mods for free and I support the creators of those through patreon, so why would I want to pay for something I could get for free elsewhere while also donating my money to the creators that I like?
I also make my own CC and share it for others to have for free. The fact the creators for the market place are only getting 30% for their work is just plain wrong. And console players are basically forced to buy something that PC players have been getting for free for a very long time, which is basically a "selling water in the desert" kind of scam.
