The sims maker program application portal
Hi,
I’m posting here because I’ve run into a pretty frustrating situation with the Sims Maker Program, and I’m not sure how to proceed.
I applied and got rejected with :
- What i need to correct
- And "In the meantime, your current application has been closed, and you are welcome to re-apply with a new submission addressing these issues. "
I reviewed everything & corrected my files (mainly naming things), and tried to resubmit.
Except… I can’t.
The portal gives me an “invalid action” error when I try to resubmit my corrected files, even though the rejection email explicitly tells me to do so.
I contacted EA Help, and they confirmed:
- this is a known technical issue
- it’s preventing rejected applicants from resubmitting
- there is no direct support channel for the Maker Program (email, Discord, forum...)
They also mentioned that the program is essentially invite-only after the initial gate, which makes the lack of support even more confusing.
Guys, your documentation is way different that what we are used to (file format, maps colors, vertex colors, etc) and so succinct and you want us to pass your test with 2 conform CCs in ONE try ????? [I didnt apply with my main account but i know pretty well how to create ccs...]
