I'm also someone who never intended to pay for the Marketplace itself. The only reason I ended up buying Moola was because the Kits were suddenly moved there, and it felt like the only way to purchase the ones I still wanted.
Now it seems that was only a temporary “limited-time” situation anyway, since after the 1.123 update the Kits were relisted on the regular game platforms again. I still have leftover Moola and assumed I'd eventually use it for future Kits.
But today I checked the Marketplace and noticed that the new Lady Bridgerton's Masquerade bundle isn't even available there, which means the three bundle-exclusive items can't be obtained through the Marketplace at all.
What's even more frustrating is that although the two Lady Bridgerton's Masquerade Kits appear in the Marketplace, the listed prices are shown as direct cash prices in my region instead of Moola prices — so effectively, they can't actually be purchased with Marketplace currency either.
That honestly makes the whole Moola system feel even more misleading.

Yeah I'm really unhappy right now. I realize I could have just said no, I absolutely won't buy moola and not gotten the kits. I made that choice. But I still feel ripped off because I made that choice specifically for the kits. I'm hoping they become available for moola because I am not interested in the maker stuff. I don't use 3rd party stuff in Sims 4, whether it's hosted by EA or not.
