Kits

I've been playing the Sims on PC for over 40 years, and when sims 3 came out with the Sims 3 store I thought it was pretty cool and I spent a lot of money buying store content. Then when Sims 4 started selling Kits I thought that was great, I loved it because the kits were affordable and and easily purchased. But the Market place requires a conversion of currency basically. First buy Moola and then purchase kits. I probably won't be buying any more kits unless they are added to new game packs and expansion packs. I always pre-order expansion packs and puchase game packs and kits as soon as they are available. But I think I'm gonna pass on the Market place experience.

  • Definitely agree on the currency conversion part, I think it would definitely be more player-friendly if we could see the real currency price on the store page and buy the item directly, bypassing the Moola conversion. But regarding the kits, if the Marketplace was going to be a thing either way, I'm actually glad that some Maxis content is going to be available there. Because even if I buy a pack of Moola to buy some Maker's content and keep the change, I can rest assure knowing that even if I don't like any custom content coming to the Marketplace in the future, I can at least look forward to some Maxis content that would be available for purchase with my remaining Moola coins.
