Re: What do you want to see on the marketplace?
First, I want to say thank you to all the amazing creators who put their time and creativity into making content for the Marketplace. I know creating high-quality items takes a lot of work, and it's greatly appreciated.
I'd love to see more content that reflects today's fashion, hairstyles, and beauty trends for both PC and console players. It would be amazing if everyone, no matter what platform they play on, had access to more modern Create-a-Sim options.
Some things I'd love to see include:
Hairstyles
More loc styles (starter locs, retwists, barrel twists, high buns, ponytails, half-up/half-down, long and short locs).
More braided styles.
More wig-inspired hairstyles with sleek middle parts, side parts, laid edges, body waves, curly wigs, straight wigs, and trendy cuts.
More natural hairstyles like twist-outs, braid-outs, Afros, puffs, curls, silk presses, and wash-and-go styles.
More hairstyles for men, including locs, twists, waves, fades, Afros, braids, cornrows, textured cuts, and curly hairstyles.
More hairstyles for infants, toddlers, and children so every age group has plenty of variety.
Clothing
More modern everyday fashion.
Matching two-piece lounge sets with fitted tops and matching flared pants that cover the feet.
Matching athletic sets.
Cargo pants.
Oversized graphic T-shirts.
Crop tops.
Hoodies.
Bodysuits.
Denim outfits.
Trendy dresses and skirts.
More fashionable clothing for men, including streetwear, casual outfits, athletic wear, business casual, and formal styles.
More stylish clothing for infants, toddlers, and children.
Create-a-Sim Details
More natural beauty marks and moles.
Better eyelashes.
More realistic eye colors.
More nail shapes, lengths, and designs.
More tattoos in different styles and placements.
More piercings.
More accessories like layered necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, scarves, bonnets, handbags, glasses, and watches.
I think adding more content inspired by today's real-world fashion and beauty trends would help players create Sims that better reflect themselves, their families, and their communities. Whether someone plays on PC or console, having more options would make Create-a-Sim even more fun and creative.
I know creating Marketplace content takes a lot of time, talent, and dedication, and I truly appreciate everyone who contributes. I honestly wish I knew how to make this kind of content myself because I'd love to contribute these ideas, but I don't feel like I have the skills or experience yet.
I hope some creators consider making more modern CAS content in the future. I think it would be something many players across both PC and console would really enjoy. And to everyone else reading this—what would you like to see added to the Marketplace?
