Should I buy Kits right now before Marketplace?

Now I'm curious, will the Kit's price be higher when bought with Moola on Marketplace?

I saw a lot of people saying they want to buy the kits before the Marketplace launch. One of the reasons is that they don't want to support this kind of selling system. But some also said that the exchange rate is not okay either (not sure about this, I may misunderstand).

When it was TS3's store, I bought many points in the early days. It's quite expensive, that make me feel guilty about buying too much. However, after a few months, I can farm the points by watching many ads and do not need to spend anymore, then I complete all possible items except the worlds (not included in the discount combination).

But what will TS4's Marketplace be? Will it have any chance to get free Moola in the future? But right now, from the FAQ, no sign of getting free Moola. You have to buy it with real money.

I'm unsure what I should do. I have a wishlist of Kits I want to gradually buy because I don't want to spend over my quota for each period of time. Having 3 EPs per year recently has made me broke already. And I don't even have time to play them deeply. Now, the decision of moving Kits from the normal store is like another FOMO that pressures me.

So, should I buy what I want right now for a better price? Or is it not much different to buy it under the Marketplace ecosystem?

    I already read the FAQ about Marketplace, but I only found the rate of buying Moola with dollars and the news that Kits will move to Marketplace. I haven't seen the confirmation of Kit's price in Moola. I only saw the price of CC contents, which vary.

    If there is any info on this from somewhere, please update me here. Thank you!

    Just found that my thread was moved to the Marketplace-related discussion. I found that people already analyze the rate. But I can't delete my thread myself. So, I have to leave it like this. Sorry for posting spam.😂

    P.S. That's why I can't see the info I want to know, and make me decide to make the thread. Then know later that people discussed since last week.

    I don't advise buying from the Marketplace at all, actually. You'll always end up paying more than sticker price.. I would be shocked if EA doesn't soon move to multiple in-store currencies and the chance to purchase "pulls" from a random selection of items, just like gambling in Gacha games. Also, none of that time you spent watching advertising was really "free", as it cost you part of your most finite resource: your lifespan.

    Thanks for your advice! I thought that it wouldn’t be cheaper after being Marketplace at all. I’ll buy some kits I want before the change.

    And that’s right, watching ads cost “time” and lifespan. I had to use pc to stand by watching many of them during TS3 time. And I don’t want to do it again.

    Also, don’t want to see Gacha pulls here as well. I think it’s almost impossible, but as many “new low” actions happens, I can’t guarantee that it’s not happen. (But next gen of this franchise may do…)

    Personally I'd say don't give EA any more of your money whether it's through the Marketplace, App, Steam, etc.  All they care about is squeezing every last penny out of the player base and if you're a non-console player there is so much CC out there that gives you a lot more than the kits do.
