I am also wondering if this is cc. More importantly will the gallery flag items from the marketplace as cc.
One could argue this is maxis outsourcing content creation to freelancers. This content has to be created with stencils. As far as I can tell these stencils are some kind of template creators have to use. So they can't just create anything. That's a limit real cc never had.

According, to the q and a on discord.They will be filter for the gallery .So you wont see market place content.

That would be great if the filter works. As it is now the filters are ignored and I am shown everything no matter what.

I am not sure why they call them stencils, but all CC creators use game assets as templates for size, positioning, and for game functions. EA also uses them when creating stuff.

I was thinking this exact thing. But the more I thought about it, it would be technically impossible for it to be considered CC, due to the gallery as well as the fact that console players can NEVER use CC and the marketplace will be available to them in a few months time. Therefor, just like with the sims 3 store, anything created in the EA creative suite, is basically the exact same content as the game as sims 3 store content was to the sims 3.
