I imagine events giving 10 Moola reward when it's completed as another way to "encourage" to play to the game.

Unfortunately they have stated there isn't way to earn moola, it is strictly for purchase. Maybe someday that will change (like Sims 3 where you could earn coins from the loading screens)!

I would say for now ... They also said The Sims 4 will exist for years but Project X is planned to replace it.

With TS3 Store, US players could get 50 SimPoints by watching 5 ads.

My personal opinion is that Moola is also a rip off and money grab. They have purposely priced things in Moola totals that will leave people with "spare change". So that left over Moola will either sit in your account as you can't trade it in or purchase anything with it or you'll have to buy more Moola so you can actually purchase more stuff. I find this whole situation sketchy and a money grab when we already pay a bunch of money for kits, expansion packs and the rest. Again, just my opinion.

That was the only reason I didn't balk at using the Sims 3 store. I would buy Simpoints when I had a few bucks to blow, then I would earn free ones to top them off so I could buy things. But, honestly, I'm so unhappy with everything that's going on now at EA that even if they offered that sort of thing again, they've already lost me. I won't even look at the marketplace.
