According to the blog from TSM the next STS is laundry 2.0 and it's going to be on January 19th and it's going to run for 11 days. So we know they are going to do this STS again. All I know, is that they are losing players not just that, paid players I know this because I lose approximately 10 players every 30 days. These are paid players because I seen their homes and they bought packs for furniture and items. They don't care much, and they just keep on going. If I don't have friends throwing parties, I have to search for parties and they're always Noobs. I predict the next STS following the next STS is going to be Valentine's Day theme. And I can't say that I'm excited for it. We are in STS Purgatory.
I have thought about improvements to STS for a few days now. These are my thoughts:
1. Lower the fail rate
2. Make four bake offs every day instead of three
3. Bring back the two prize boxes that can be purchased with tokens through STS
4. The 25 regular token drop needs to be every time you finish an event. And they should add random Royal token drops
5. The non bake off events should have a makeover too, Home Sweet Home 2 royal tokens, 120 regular tokens, 600 simoleons. The two short events: Posh Pastry Class and Flavor Lab should have 1 Royal, 60 regular tokens and 350 simoleons.
I'm sick of paying for my prizes, I don't win prizes I pay for them.
I am pretty happy the way my gym looks now. The exercise ball is nice not only you can you sit on it, you can read to your children with it.
- SalixCat6 years agoHero+@givememore86 Who's turn is it today to do the laundry?😀
- 6 years ago@SalixCat No one's turn to clean the laundry this week, I don't have a WASHING MACHINE!!!! 😂🤣😂
We just leave it on the ground for the maid to clean up. - 6 years ago
Finished it, but have just read the new one is laundry!.... Ahhhh all I want is party items and outdoor preferably. I missed the original events before the sweet treat showdowns. No more boring items...PLEASE

Another STS just a couple of days after that the previous one ended is ridiculous. How are we supposed to build up our resources? Of course: buying packs...
Definitely skipping this one.

I managed to finish with 3 hours and 20 minutes left before the event ends.
Failed many times and paid in rounds 1 - 3. Didn't pay when I failed in rounds 4 and above.
Total spent as you can see from my screenshots, 243 Sim cash. I used 5 cupcakes during the last special events because I needed the extra royal tokens.
I didn't spend Simoleons. I didn't rush bake-offs.
I really hope that those of you who haven't finished get the rewards you wish.

@SalixCatSo happy that you got it. I hope you don't have to spend so much next time. Do you have a different strategy for the next one? It pains me to know that you spend so much. Are you willing to use simoleons for the first three rounds instead of hoping to pass without any cubes? I rather pay simoleons than simcash. I did pretty good, I reached my goal of unlocking all the prizes I spent no simcash I didn't get the grand prize but that's what I was expecting and I'm not too upset about it. I just kept on failing a lot this STS, and then I just didn't care. Statistically speaking, I tend to fail on round two on a seven rounder a lot, so next time if I'm serious I am planning on spending simoleons on the second one or putting cubes on it. I am done spending simcash this game. They know that people are not willing to save themselves after round 4 because it doesn't pay. With 40 simcash you can buy a new round. That's why they try to get you on rounds 1 through 3. So you spent 243 simcash, I'm going to round it down to 240. 240 / 30 is 8 rounds that you could have bought and most likely you would have had enough tokens by doing that instead. I only missed 6 regular boxes and four royal token boxes. I'm definitely going to go a different route the next time I'm serious about this STS. But considering next one is laundry day 2.0 I'm not going to care at all.

These were my favorite gifts that I "won" this this STS:
I won the child just by opening up the game.
I won these pretty dresses, with matching earrings and high heels by the New Year's Eve pack.
I won earrings and hats with wumples quest.
These are the quest that I won a lot of prizes at, and I was happy with.
I was so happy that I bought the 14 dollar end of the year pack that had a lot of simcash at a great value.
