Anyone else start Sims with Sims Mobile?

Am I the only one who had never played Sims at all before Sims Mobile?

I got the game to feed my phone addiction after quitting twitter. Then I did just buy Sims 3 for the computer since it was cheaper than Sims 4. It’s super complicated and not as pretty to look at so I have only played one day so far but will get back at it when I feel like finding a two button mouse for my MacBook Air. I look forward to being able to have pets and slow down kids growing up!

Oh- I will admit I did rent one of the original Sim City games for Sega genesis back in the early 90s thinking it was something I could play without having any hand eye coordination. But I built my city and no Sims moved in. I cried in frustration and never looked at a Sims game again. I like these Sims Life type games better than City building!

    This was my first time every playing Sims. Having it on my phone is so much easier. It's an excellent time waster when I'm waiting around, shuttling my kid to soccer, etc! I found myself getting sentimentally attached to my characters. I don't want them to retire!

    I started with The Sims 1, I've played The Sims Freeplay to The Sims Social (of Facebook), I really like this little version of The Sims 4. 

    But I do love building in The Sims 4 more!

    I also played Sim City back in the 1990's but have never played any of the sims games before this one.

    I got into it through Sims Freeplay...total addict.... I was looking for some solution on a freeplay quest, and read about the Sims Mobile coming out that day! I'm absolutely hooked!
    I find this one more inspiring, just the one family. My freeplay has got a bit big...
    I'm actually writing a short novel based on my Mobile family, and they have their own facebook page...haha, I love it!!

    I play Sim City BuildIt on my iPad...or i did until i found Sims mobile lol.  Now I’m completely addicted and all my other games are on the back burner.  My daughter plays Sims 4, so we always compare the differences and talk about what our sims are doing lol

    Never was interested in playing the Sims games because I thought it was for children.   I purchased a new computer last year and wanted to get some games to play on it, but did not know what to get.  I stumbled across the Sims 4 and was intrigued, at this point I did not care if it was for children, I just wanted something to get me out of the real world.   I was going through EA website and saw the Sim Mobile and immediately went to my Android Play to download it, I have been hooked ever since.   I am planning on purchasing the Sims 4 bundle and other add ons in the near future.

    Glad to hear everyone has had different paths to this new addiction. I keep wondering how much I don’t know about the game having never done the computer versions before.

    I just love my Sims fam. Currently I have 4 adult sisters taking care of their child and toddler siblings because their parents retired this morning! Less than 100 points to go on ASOS.
