[By design] - Is the deco chef sink a mistake?

Product: The Sims Mobile
Platform:Android Tablet
List the specific devices you play with (e.g. iPhone 6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7) Samsung Tab S6
OS Version Android 11
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Check out the deco chef sink.
What do you expect to see? I expected to see a kitchen sink with this set. Instead, there's a bathroom sink, complete with mirror.
Connection Type Wifi

Country United States

Was this a deliberate choice, or an error? Is there any way this can be fixed before the packs are released? The bathroom sink is just such a weird part of this set. (Thanks to KarenKeren for the preview image! I had to crop it in order to post it.)

  • Sorry @EA_DragonsEye but just wanted to ask if you could possibly push the team for an answer before the end of the pack sale period (4 days)? I’m kinda assuming it won’t be changed now that it’s gone up for sale but would be great to know either way. Or even just an explanation as to the reasoning behind putting a bathroom sink in a kitchen pack - would be interesting to know. Thanks so much. 

  • Really frustrating. Especially since I’ve been banging on about it on Twitter since it was announced, and more recently on here. I have a hard time letting go of things that just. Don’t. Make. Sense. 😩😖😫

  • @catvocals LOL, same here. I caught it and brought it up on reddit a while back. I really like the set and would seriously be considering buying at least some of the pieces if I knew that they would at the very least fix the sink issue after the fact, though it would obviously be preferable if it had already been fixed.
  • @EnbySim13 Don’t even get me started, I only noticed it was missing a sink after purchasing it. I really hope they plan to either update the pack or at least add it to the counter catalog later on. If this was a mistake, it’s a really big one considering the cost.

Sadly, we won't be able to change the sink right away but making a note to change it for future. In case you have purchased the pack already, please send me a DM so I can help you out."

    @catvocals to get an answer to the team for certain things the best person to ask would be @SimGuruAwin or @SimGuruSanah since they are the community managers. I am going to be always behind timewise in regards to official communications, usually referring to theirs.

    Thanks @EA_DragonsEye I saw this on Twitter. Funnily enough I messaged them on Twitter days ago but you are always quicker to reply. I appreciate you taking the time to try and help. Just wish I could get a definitive answer as to whether this will be fixed, but think I just need to let it go now and accept it’s not a pack for me. Thanks again.
