Can't choose traits for my sims

Question

Hello! I have two sims, on sims mobile, and I've been getting these pop ups about choosing traits. However as soon as I tap anything, the pop up disappears and all my trait progress is erased back to zero. Any way to fix this? Screenshots included.

Is there any way to change your existing traits or swap them out?I am stuck with 4 traits that i do not want, and as soon as fashion trait opens i want it?(Cause my sim work in fashion)

Not that I know of. A next Sim could get it though when you unlock it.&nbsp;
