EA StaffSorry to hear your game freezes during parties! Can you give you me your player ID so I can take a closer look at this. This page explains how to find this id: https://help.ea.com/help/the-sims/the-sims-mobile/find-your-player-id-in-the-sims-mobile, it has 13 numbers.
Do you remember what type of party your friend was hosting?
@SimGuruMaaike user id is 1003689975655 It was user @pepperjax1230 party who is playing on Apple. It was a foodie party . I could not complete the party, it froze. I shut my phone down and was able to send another sim in to complete the party. I went and checked the party status and all went well. I checked a little later and the time left for the party stopped showing. It also looked like my sims never attended the party though it counted as one of my two parties attended that day. It then completely disappeared off my party list for the day. I received no rewards. pepper told me the party wound up crashing on their end but they got rewards
It has happened to me at 4 different parties this week.

I was able to attend a few more parties successfully since my original message, but I’m currently locking up while attending a mutual contact’s Concert Party at 11:32 EST. It’s definitely not a “party full” problem—this party only has six attendees including myself.- SimGuruMaaike
Thanks all for the reports! Do you notice if this happens when the other lot is very large, for example all land unlocked and a lot of objects in the house?
@SimGuruMaaike The parties I've been to are at the item limit. Some have unlocked all the land, some have more than half unlocked.

I do have troubles with parties as well.
It started yesterday on Wednesday 13.
Buttons to accept tasks stopped to work and the screen froze.
When I was able to attend the party again I had lost all my point progress.
It has affected all parties I attended since yesterday.

Game freezes at studio party especially when trying actions that involve several Sims. I have to force close the app every time.
I have already tried every trouble shooting suggested by EA help. Nothing helps.
My devices are:

As you can see it involves a fix for a party crash, can you let us know how this freezing issue is now in your game?
Reporting it still freezes HOWEVER it only freezes on the second party, the first ran smoothly, but yeah I managed to only get one action in and then perma freezing as soon as I try an action, any action. I need to force close the app or it stays frozen on the screen.
Everything is updated on both my end and yours. I reported earlier on a different thread about the new additions so I definitely have your new updated game.

Game updated today. Deleted app and reinstalled. Have gone already through all trouble shooting steps.

Thursday 21st june: Game freezes at wedding party 8:30 a.m. UTC +1.
I noticed there were already 15 guests including myself.
Impossible to interact with one or several Sims. Only way to get out is force close the app.
Got a picture of the house just in case you need it.
Update Friday 22nd june: first party of the day same as yesterday.
Went to the second party since it was just starting at level 1. Had no problems with interactions. Chat was not available after a while.
Hosted my own party and reached level 10 after 40 minutes. I closed the game and came back two hours later. Got error 400 party not available.
It's not just the party freezing. The chat doesn't load either. We get this 👇 and it just shows loading. I had to go out and back in to get it to load.
Also, this is slightly strange but it censors the word "night" in the chat. We have to spell it "nite". It bleeps the whole text with ***********.
Yes, chat not loading happens now frequently in my game.
This is getting really bad. It is not possible to interact at all with other sims in parties.

Screen freezes all the time.
I am now wondering if the bubble bar has anything to do with this issue.
I had a good run but reporting it’s happened again 😱
If I do any action it kills the game. When I arrive I notice some sims are frozen in a pose while others are moving around... unsure if that’s useful information or not but there is no rhyme nor reason behind this.
Also are we going to get compensated at all for these missed out gems, simoleons + tickets?
