Tell me about it. I've been fighting with them for over an hour now. I WANT those other items. I'm running a vblog as part of a project intended to become a career, and I can't make it a career if I can't show my viewers the items. Grrrrrr. There are so many better ways to do it. I'm loathe to quote City Girl Life as an example of a way to run a game, but the way they do it is like this:
Okay, I've just spent two hours making angry noises at talking to EA and finally got an answer. Confirmed: they can't upgrade our packs, even if we pay more, because the system isn't in place to do it. However, the CSR also mentioned that the devs definitely read the forums so if we want something changed we should make some noise over there. I've made a post just for that purpose, so come over and help me make some noise! :D

It always confuses me when customer support reply differently. I was in a party and over party chat someone was saying they asked for EA to refund the low level pack and activate the larger pack to be purchased, he was so convincing I submitted a ticket asking for the same thing.
I read a theory that it's based on how much you've spent in the past but that can't be true because a buddy got the middle pack offered and has never spent a cent with them before. So wished they just had all options available for purchase.
worst case scenario I wish they break up the items individually to let those who missed out the chance to purchase. 🤞
I am not sure how this pack distibuted to us.
maybe its based on how much we spend money before this pack released.
maybe its based on how much times we spend to playing the game.
maybe its based on how active we play the game for last month / last 3 month.
maybe its random.
or maybe it could be all that probability i describing above.
the biggest pack maybe reward for player who deserve it.
But i am sure EA have their considerarion before they distributed the pack to us.
- Posted this in the other thread, but it's definitely random, as one player found out first hand by wiping their player data and reloading multiple times.
Personally, I'm glad it wasn't some value judgment about who "deserved" the pack. That'd be a weird way to do business. Then again, if it WERE distributed that way, I'd have gotten it, lol!
