[Event] Missing Internet Icon event

Product: The Sims Mobile
Platform:Apple iPhone

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Everyone else has access to the "Internet Icon" event & it is locked for me! (I don't have the heirloom)
What do you expect to see? I expect to see access to play this event!!

I DO NOT HAVE THE Internet Icon HEIRLOOM and the hobby items have a lock on them saying that I need the heirloom to unlock. I should not be required to buy it (which it is offering me) for $9.99 when everyone else has the option to play and earn it! Now I am down a day of playing too, which is not fair.

  • Same here I don't have the quest either i've contacted EA about it but hopefully they fix it as i've seen plenty of other people saying they've got it.

    EA has passed the info on to the concerned team, I've contacted them myself as well. I have the same issue on my test account.

    The sad news is, the trigger period from what I've heard is 2 days will be over today. Sadly we won't be able to start this quest and have to wait for it to start another time in the future.

    It's not the news I wanted to hear or give to you guys. ☹️
    I'll pass the info on to the right people, that's all I can do as well for now. 

    Things I've heard suggested:
    - Tap on a couch and see if you can start the quest.

    - Tap on a shower and see if you can start the quest.

    These are the first steps to start the quest normally, didn't work for me.

    Things that don't work:

    - Closing background Apps
    - Restarting the App
    - Clear your App Cache and data 
    - Update your Devices version

    - Changing location
