How long after weekly fashion contest does it take to get fashion gems?

The weekly fashion contest is done, how long do I wait to get fashion gems? I kind of have been waiting to retire some Sims after I get the reward..l

    Mine usually come Monday afternoon or evening...

I also retire sims and activate new ones as soon as the sticker rewards are released, usually late Monday.  I usually retire 2 sims each week.

    To continue leveling play and to build multi-generation families.  IRL I am interested in family history and I like that I can build one in the game.

        I love it!! Today's highlight was meeting the son of one of my Sims that moved out! I was so excited, you won't believe it! So of course, I covered it in tonight's blog! Haha, I just love to see the family tree, which is getting just a bit complex...!
