Same, I would like to change hair style/clothing. All I can do is click on my toddler and change her into a second random outfit. Can we not customize?

No, there's nothing that can be done about this. You'll have to wait until they age up.

Ye but how do u age a kid up? Idk if you have to get to a certain level to unlock another playable character, or it just happens, if any one knows please share

I think you need to be maybe lvl 9 or 10 to unlock the third slot, but it will cost simcash.
The kids will get an age-up bubble over the head after a few days, click them to age them up. When they age up to teen/adult you can make them playable 🙂

Okay, so when they do age up, how do you change their appearance? My kid grew up and got dreadlocks, which I want to change.

You have to make them a playable Sim. If you have a free playable spot, you can add them and then change their appearance.
- Anonymous8 years agoYes, my son Benny is all grown up and he has blonde hair with a long black beard. I hate it! Please change it.
Also, consider the option to delete Sims. Some people may have accidentally added a Sim and they can't undo it until they retire.
