@SalixCat no he does not, but even if he did I would argue that that would still really be the AI and at some point a character naturally leaves your game, playing or not. I’d rather he just leave. I’m not going to marry him, I don’t do events with him, he just basically stalks me all around town and at my properties.
Insert picture is back to working on my iPad, I don’t know about my phone. It may be that the software is starting to get old. It’s a 7S.
- 5 years ago@SalixCat Yes, I can. And I have. I changed him into a Jedi knight. And I changed him back months ago. I still knew it was him, he still scared me silly, and curiously it didn’t really change anything. It was Him. He was still invading my streets and hallways, and whenever I ran into him I knew he was menacing. The whole Jedi knight thing was a joke, because that was the only control I had, and it was a lie. He looked like a Jedi knight but I knew who he was supposed to be, and that made it eerier than ever.
I really hope this isn’t the solution. I swear I don’t think I should have to put up with him anymore. He should so be gone from a number of different angles. No player should have to endure this.- SalixCat5 years agoHero+@CharlieDaisy12 NPCs don't disappear. I've never seen an old NPC disappear from my game. Sometimes those on working places get replaced by young adults.
This has been happening for a long time. You can read about it here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Open-Ancient-elder-NPCs-don-t-disappear/td-p/6986428- 5 years ago
Well I guess that settles it, then. There is a character in my game I don’t like that won’t leave, I have taken his mask off again, finally, and he is in fact an elder, which seals the deal in my experience, and I am being asked to put up with that in order to play the game. I think enough players have complained about this now that it’s clear it’s a persistent problem in our gaming experience. It diminishes my enjoyment of the game, often gets in the way of completing goals set out by the game to complete, like getting married, and in this case elicits a fairly strong negative association with my experience, no matter what the NPC looks like. That, I believe, is why NPCs are usually so specifically homogenized. I don’t know what more I can add. Please look into this bug, issue, whatever it might be. I feel it would significantly enhance player experience.
