Ah, it's a shame that they removed the option. I never even wanted to create the roommate in the first place! I entered the creation screen by accident and there wasn't a cancel option, and even restarting the app wouldn't let me leave it. I guess I'm stuck with him for now.
I think that's a child, I'm not that far in the game yet, so I have no idea if that option was removed. I think children should be able to leave home, right?
