Item Limit Notice wont go away.

I need help! Everytime I try and add an item a notice comes up saying "Please remove some items to make room for more" But I placed items in my storage and the "Item Limit" notice keeps coming up. What do I do to fix this? Why wont this notice go away?

I want to do the summer event challenges because I would like to get the items involved in this event. But unfortunetly I am not able to do so because number 3 of the "Mysteries of the gnome garden" needs me to place a tray of summer drinks down in my house. But this notice/error is not allowing me to do so. Please someone assist me with this!

I have put many items inside my storage in hopes of making room. But it still says theres an item limit.

I really don't want to miss out on this event because of this stupid bug.

  • @mariamarks32 We all despise the item limit. Having said that, do you have flowers or trees in your yard? Start with one of those. I had to put 10 trees I bought into storage in order to put out one stupid planter last time. I couldn't put the drink tray out either until I put a flower patch, the tea pot tray and several other knicknacks away. It's really trial and error. Hope it helps.

And Welcome to the AHQ Forums too! ☺

  • ^^^ What @PaQuilter1 said.  We all hate the item limit.  Just so you know, it isn't a number limit but a resources limit.  The items that have more animations/graphics take up more space than simpler items.  As was already said, some of the worst culprits are plants.

Thank you and @BlueWizardRob for your input. I removed some of the plants I had in the yard and I was able to place items down. Its so strange, because I had those plants in my yard since I started playing the game. They never really gave me an issue before. They really need to update that item limit.
