How are we supposed to improve our lifestyle with such a small in house item limit? Its not possible to collect all hobby and work rewards and still have a functioning house. I just paid for the chris...
Note: I've inserted two screenshots to portray this issue.
Limitation:
There are some limitations in house designing that need to be reviewed and changed.
1) After purchasing all the new plants in surplus, I've added a front yard to my house, and designed a beautiful garden. Now, I am unable to refurbish the interior of my house with any items. I did not purchase all of these plants for a garden to only be unable in placing interior items.

Suggestions:
1) Not to overstep my boundaries, but I've been a supporter of this game, and like everyone else, we would love to see a change in increase in the house item limit.
2) Another suggestion: 😇 Sell useless items / (b) Throw away useless items / (c) Implement categorization
If it is not in near future development or is being planned for players to be able to 😇 sell house items we no longer favor, then can you give us the option to (b) throw away these items? In case neither of these options are plausible, then may I suggest (c) implementing categorization for housing items? Similar to the Store, developers can implement categories with titles that can be used to associate several distinct items. It is often frustrating for players to hassle through items which we are not looking for.
Thank you.
I hope everyone takes a look at everything above.
I forgot to mention that I would love to hear other players' thoughts on this issue. Please feel free to share your opinions and/or advocate for the same change. Thank you!
Problem with being able to place more stuff means a bigger game to load, some phones might not be able to run that. Which would cause issues.
However if you do want to freedom I suggest getting The Sims 4.

Thank you for your feedback. I understand that adding more items would increase render time for some users and/or make some users not able to play, but it's a huge failure on the developers' part.
1) The capacity for items is not shown to us
2) No information shown about items' value
3) There was never any details mentioned about item limit in the tutorial
Why put up items up for sale that can only be bought with tickets, which many are desired, and yet you can only use a few? That defeats the desire in owning plants for a garden.
I haven't experienced this issue yet but I guess I will some day.
We are encouraged to buy items every day in order to complete a daily quest and, if there is a limit, at least it should be possible to sell unwanted items. In this way players will continue enjoying the game. We will buy more items if we know we will be able to sell or delete them. Yes, we will use more money in the game, EA 🙂
Is there any way to remove or increase the object cap limit? I can't finish furnishing my house. What's the point of having a mansion that I can't finish? My player ID is 4664951
EA Decreased The Item Limit In This Recent Winterfest Update!
I put stuff away in my inventory to make room for a party & after my party was over. I couldn't take my stuff back out of my inventory that I put away for party

That's where I'm at. Every day I get that message and I have to remove 1-6 items just to put that 1 item that we have to purchase from the to do list and then I can't even out that item in storage and take out the items that I originally had. I also get notices that say too many wall designs and floor designs. I have 8 rooms and 2 have the same carpet and another 2 have the same carpet. It won't let me change them. It's frustrating and I do the to do list and that's about all I do anymore and I'm thinking about just deleting the app all together because it's not even fun anymore. I've had to put so many items in storage because if the item limit. My walls are pretty much bare.
It is frustrating. Keep in mind that not all items count the same. It isn't really an item limit but is really a resources limit. Some items have animations that take up more resources. It isn't always obvious what is causing the problem. There are several threads here on the item limit. I suggest you search for them and read them. They have several suggestions on how to solve the problem.
One thing that worked for a number of people was to put everything into storage and re-design your house from scratch. Many people found they were able to put out more items than they had before.
Hi,
I am experiencing the same issue, i.e. Item limit. I noticed that after the recent update that I started to encounter the problem. This has something to do when I had varieties of outdoor plants which I got from the Backyard BBQ event. Each time I finished a task I was given plants for my backyard as a reward. After the quest I was given Gushing flower fountain and gardener's cart which I have placed on my backyard. This is when the error of item limit started occurring.
I hope they can fix this permanently.
