How are we supposed to improve our lifestyle with such a small in house item limit? Its not possible to collect all hobby and work rewards and still have a functioning house. I just paid for the chris...
Hmm... If a definitive decision on the item limit exists, I'd like to know what the definitive decision is so I can either 1) choose to invest more time and money, 2) stop playing, or 3) accept permanent limitations and adjust my play within those limitations.
I love to design. As things are now, we're kind of at a stalemate because we can't exercise creativity—only accumulation. If I knew the item wasn't ever gonna improve, I might consider redesigning my entire house to try something new. Instead, it's like sitting on a rock waiting for something to happen?

@VintageStarletteGood luck. I hope they change their mind about the item limit increase but for now as they told me it's a no as I said in my last post at #76
Based on what they said and when it appeared and what they say every time it decreases, I'm absolutely sure that they are not deciding to put an item limit. I am very sure that they are "optimizing" (the word they use) resources to solve problems, like the party problems, that are caused by too many things with too many variables and too many graphics and too many animations. They are causing crashes and bugs so they "optimize" it and limit the number of resource eating things you can put out. That shows up to us as the dreaded item limit. In reality they would need to rewrite their code to be much leaner, tighter and streamlined, in short making much smarter use of code. That is hard and expensive.
@Tiffany562411 You know I was sitting here thinking about what you said. I've noticed lately that I've been getting more and more ads popping up. What if this game is just a vehicle for them to get ad revenue? Maybe since I'm not going to spend anymore money, maybe I should stop watching ads to. This game is so frustrating it just isn't worth it. 😢
@Tiffany562411 RE: funding s4, the word on the street circa2016-2017 was they fired most s4 staff and moved what was left to build the two apps (free play & mobile.) I use s4 as my destresser and there has been less and less content, just like s3 felt at the end. So maybe they’re trying to keep profits up like when all those stuff packs came out? IDK but they are cash grabbing in a obvious way now. So like a new DLC just drooped 🤭
The straw that is starting to make me break is the increase in bugs, game breaking bugs to some, yet new content (where micro transactions are becoming more prevalent) are being churned out. I know the patch today was suppose to b3 a fix but my parties still freeze so, for me at least, the more the game breaks the more it drives me away. Also being a sims game customisation is first and foremost what this genre is about yet here we are, another week and no fix for the broken item levels & instead a new customisation problem like you & @PaQuilter1 have already identified... it’s ruining the fun.
