How are we supposed to improve our lifestyle with such a small in house item limit? Its not possible to collect all hobby and work rewards and still have a functioning house. I just paid for the christmas pack and cant even fit any decorations in the house ☹️

Now, I am unable to refurbish the interior of my house with any items. I completely agree with you. I keep running into item limit problems as well. Sometimes, depending on what im placing, i will remove one thing to replace it with something new and it will let me put two new things down when i only just removed one item. Also, ive removed an item and the game still wouldnt let me place something new unless i just put back the item i just removed. It seems like some items count as more than one. Im level 32 and now that i cant hardly put anything else down in or outside my house im having a hard time improving my lifestyle. My house doesnt look overcrowded to me and when im able to add another room im not even going to be able to furnish it. I really hope EA will consider getting rid of the item limit or raising it drastically, please. That seems to be something all the players can agree on. Also, being able to sell your old furniture(possibly a consignment shop or flea market, or even let players have a yardsale as an event alternative to hosting a party). That would be awesome and benefit everyone: higher level players could get rid of the old to make room for new and make a few simoleans on the side. Plus new players could benefit by being able to buy more stuff at a cheaper rate and maybe just not boost your lifestyle points as much as a new item would. Just a few concerns and suggestions. Could not agree more!!!1) I purchased 4 new plants and built a front yard as well! I currently placed only about 90+ furniture (including windows and doors), and 4 new plants. I have friends who have the exact same level and lifestyle with me but placed more than 100 furniture. BUT!!! They do not have any new plants! So new plants might be the reason!Also, you are absolutely right! Lifestyle does not involve in the item limit. I leveled up in lifestyle this morning to "Best Nester." It is a level of a new room. But the item limit did not change.I guess the developers are either designed the item limit logic in a bad way (e.g. each item should be counted as 1, but new plants are designed to be count as 5) or there are bugs in their code for those new plants! The developers definitely should increase the limit or decrease the weight of new plants (or fix the bugs)!2) If selling the useless item won't happen, having a more organized storage would help a lot.

I don’t care for this item limit, I log on, do quests and one of them is to buy something for my home, yet I have to move something into my inventory, then buy something I don’t even want, then put it directly into the already overwhelming inventory and get my original item out. Either get rid of the daily quest to buy more items for the home or the item limit. Having both is really contradictory to each other. 🤔🤨

I've apparently reached my object limit in my house in The Sims Mobile, every time I'd like to buy something, it prevents me from doing so. But I can't sell any objects or delete them either. So is the peak of progress in this game basically reached for me?!

You will need to put some existing items in your Storage!

Hold down on an item you’re going to store until the BOX icon comes up;
then tap the box and your item will go into storage & you’ll be able to purchase new items to keep playing the game You might have to remove a few items though. So you can keep playing!

There have been threads on here about the item limits & pleas for EA to either remove the limits or raise the item counts back up or figure out another solution, because it’s messing up a lot of people’ Games

Your inventory box is full? Are you talking about your storage box or the items displayed in your home? I don't think there is a limit on storage, only on items on display.
There are a great many of us that have run into the item limit. We continually have to move things into storage to buy anything.

I really don’t understand this, how can they ask us daily to buy items so we can get our rewards and then limit our inventory? This makes me nervous. If sell items doesn’t become a possibility, I don’t know how we will be able to continue this game. 🤔🤨

The item limit. I hope EA increases it. I'm starting to hate this game. Some of my friends have quit & went back to sims freeplay all cause of the low quantity item limit. In sims freeplay there is a item limit but u can have tons by way more items without going over the limit. Sims mobile is ridiculous.
How many more people will EA make quit.

REAL TALK ABOUT ITEM LIMIT
In sims freeplay I have a 5 story house with a basement which equals 6 floors & I have all 6 floors filled with furniture & decorations & anything u can think of on all 6 floors & I have stuff on my balconies & stuff in my front yard without going over the limit.
Sims freeplay also has a limit too. Obviously Firemonkey's is more familiar with mobile devices in what it can handle. Sims Mobile item limit is ridiculously low & some of my friends have quit & went back to sims freeplay cause of the low item limit stripping the fun out of it. I'm still sitting back in sims mobile hoping for some great changes that they will increase the item limit & much more that sims mobile really needs. I still play sims freeplay hoping sims mobile can catch up to it. Please increase the item limit EA please

I have just hit this same problem, unbelievably infuriating!!
I am level 29 and love the way my house looks (even if some may think it’s too cluttered - see pics), however I now have to “store” some of my beloved items in order to;
a) complete the daily task list,
b) level up my status and
c) actually fill new/empty rooms with new items
Everything was going so well until this point and I was loving this game and seeing my house improve little by little each day.
Please EA - sort this issue so that I and many others can continue expanding my Sims home 😢
I’m not sure the point in playing unless this is fixed - storing items = not the house I want!!

@muddystain Oh yeah, the item limit is infuriating. I haven't been able to make significant changes for a while and won't get to until the problem is resolved. However, you have navigated the item limit extremely well! Your house is fantastic!
