Missing Research Home Clues and Walkie Talkies on Treasure Hunt Event

This is the second time I didn't have both the Research Home Clues and Walkie Talkies in Treasure Hunt event. I really like the prices in this current event and was ready to purchase the Explorers Kit but it's going to be a waste if I don't have the two most important things in the event. I hate that this happens to me.

    @Vixelly Hi, how does your Treasure Hunt map look like? Can you access the events from there?

    The map only shows 2 digging sites. I managed to get to the Walkie Talkies but only if one of those digging sites are open. I have attached the screenshot.

    @Vixelly I think your map looks like it should in the beginning: Research Home Clue event is there as well as the shortest digsite and the investigation event. Other digsites unlock when progressing the Smallfry’s quest.

    But Smallfry’s quick access to the dig should show up on the map after the quest has been started. If you’ve played now 12 hours already, not sure if it’s going to show up there or if it can be fixed for this event. Did you get this same issue during the previous TH?

    @Ilois4 It only looks like Research Home Clues is there coz it has a check mark but when you click on it, it just goes back to the house. When you click the map icon on any couch, the option is not there at all so there’s no way for me to collect clues at all. It’s a pity coz the issue started happening since the last TH event.

    @Ilois4 Hello! I tried what you suggested but to no avail. But you are right, there’s a stuck event. When I click on the pink check from the maps for the Research Home Clues, it keeps going back to one particular house. So I guess that’s where the stuck event is. Unfortunately, even after several restarts and even uninstalling/reinstalling the app, I still can’t get the Research Home Clue option. And no one is passive/retired SIM in that particular house. I guess, I will never be able to participate in the TH event.

    @Vixelly Did you click through all your passive and retired sims in the family portrait and the generations tab?
    I do not recommend uninstalling/reinstalling the app, since that can lead to progress loss.

    @Ilois4 Yeah I did, but to no luck 😔 I can’t figure out who got stuck from that particular house.

    @Vixelly Hi, it’s not necessarily from that house since any sim can do the event in any house. 🤔 Don’t give up! 🙏
