My parties are freezing

Sims Mobile - play on iPad. My parties are freezing. Worse for my guests than me. Sometimes it freezes for me and sometimes it does not. For Guests it freezes quickly - they cannot do actions. I begin a party action and my sim flies off somewhere else before finishing it. Only happens sometimes for me - not always. 

I went to another party as a guest and the party was freezing immediately after 2 seconds - could not interact/give stickers or anything.
