Retired sims are stuck in hobby mode.
elder sims won’t allow me to demolish house to rebuild says they are busy. Also can’t move out elder sims.
- 4 years ago@2d8hug16jhl8 I’ve run out of space for new sims. All my retired sims are stuck and won’t leave.

I'm having the same issue. My retired sims have not moved out on their own. I can't click on them with my active sims. Do we have to manually "remove" retired sims? I don't want to click on this option because what if they get removed from the generations family portrait.

Hopefully someone has an idea how to fix this, retired sim often gets in the way

I've retired some Sims and now they are stuck with no option to remove or anything. They're not on the family portraits.
I want to bulldoze a house but it says the Sim is busy and so I can't bulldoze.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

@1006001968545 Hi, check that you have a normally functioning sim living on the same lot as the stuck sim and then check the family portrait and the generations tab to see if you can find the stuck sims.
As far as I understood from other players having similar issue, there might be only the sim’s name (and not necessarily the character portrait). Click the sim/sim’s name and then exit the family portrait. Restart the app and after opening try to interact with the stuck sim.
Hopefully your stuck sims get freed, unfortunately I got no other tips at this point to give you. 🤞
edit 18.7.22: Added the sentence about restarting the app.
