    @SalixCat Hi I moved the Sim out of my house to another house. Then moved the same sim back in with their family. This time it worked. The 4th slot returned to normal. I was able to make the next sim playable.
    Thank you for letting me know there is an alternative way to go. I'll keep this in mind, next time this glitch happens.

    Yes, I tried doing this. Still didn’t solve the problem. I’m going to just retire the sim after I complete his career. Not sure what else I can do.
