There will be 20 plots to clear but the size of the lots will still be 30x30 squares.

@givememore86 1st additional plot will always cost 40.000 Simoleons, so choose the plot you like best.

To get 40,000 simoleons, your Sims will have to complete 88 long events (about a month if you have four Sims go to work at least once a day).
To get 500,000 simoleons, your Sims will have to complete 1,111 long events (about 40 weeks if you have 4 Sims go to work once a day)
Who does that?
I will try to log in once a day to keep them working.😁
@DBrick01 over time you accumulate a few Simoleons with quests and events, but indeed it's a steep price, certainly something you're working up to.
