Quick shift taking 30/30 to complete

Could this have anything to do with a recent update?

I'm having the same exact issue.

The quick shifts are 38m long with my one sim whose in the restaurant career, but it takes more than 30/30 for me to complete it. I just used up his entire energy bar and he still has 3m left until completion.

I'll give it a test myself. 

Same here, I've tried to test it but mine are an hour long.

My guess could be the higher the levels the harder it is to complete, hence needing more energy? I'm not sure but this is happening for me as well. 

I think the energy must be to do with either levels or workplaces.

One of my Sims takes 30/30 energy doing a quick shift in the coffee shop, he’s higher up than the one whose just started in the restaurant. That Sim takes 15/30 for a quick shift.

I am having this issue as well.  It is only happening with one of my sims.  I restarted and reinstalled.  Still happening.
