Re: "Complete 2 events" quest unresponsive

I'm not sure what's the difference between standard events or others, I just did 3 normal 1-hour work days, 1 practice cooking event, and a "make friends" event. And yes, 1-7

@000099882 when you're a little progressed in a story (relationship, work or hobby) you'll have three options, one is short that is about an hour-long, standard about 3 hours long and long around 5 hours long. The times change with items you have out and traits your Sims have. 

It sounds like you've tried a short event and you Sim needs to level up a little in the story before they can do a standard event.
