Re: [Event] Missing Internet Icon event

Did you update your game? There was an upgrade about 4 days ago. If you did not, please make sure that you updated to the newest version. Make sure your game is connected to Facebook, EA etc. Then force stop. Restart your phone. Hopefully that will work.

    Just one more thing, make sure you have your game account number, I have lost my game previously, make sure you have that number.

    The best thing at this time is to contact an EA game advisor about this issue. 

    You can do so through The Sims Mobile app. First things first, write down your Player ID or take a screenshot of it.

    - Open side menu

    - Click the gear icon

    - Click the 'Help & About' tab

    - Click 'Help'

    Your browser opens

    - Scroll down and click on 'Contact Us'

    The EA game advisor might ask you to perform a couple of troubleshooting steps you can find over here for Apple or Android. You can try those before contacting them, or while you're waiting on a reply.

    If you're asked to clear data or reinstall the app, make sure your app is being back-upped to the App store or EA account.
    The backup options might have turned off during a previous update. Your app will reset, but after creating a Sim you should get the popup to restore from the cloud.

    If you choose the 'Report Bug' option you might not receive a reply from EA. 

    If you can't access the app for some reason. You can also contact EA outside of it.

    I contacted EA and they told me to post here as there was nothing they could do in game and they had no information. I’m sure it is too late now to fix anything though
  • Same here I don't have the quest either i've contacted EA about it but hopefully they fix it as i've seen plenty of other people saying they've got it.

    EA has passed the info on to the concerned team, I've contacted them myself as well. I have the same issue on my test account.

    The sad news is, the trigger period from what I've heard is 2 days will be over today. Sadly we won't be able to start this quest and have to wait for it to start another time in the future.

    It's not the news I wanted to hear or give to you guys. ☹️
    I'll pass the info on to the right people, that's all I can do as well for now. 

    Things I've heard suggested:
    - Tap on a couch and see if you can start the quest.

    - Tap on a shower and see if you can start the quest.

    These are the first steps to start the quest normally, didn't work for me.

    Things that don't work:

    - Closing background Apps
    - Restarting the App
    - Clear your App Cache and data 
    - Update your Devices version

    - Changing location
