Re: [Fixed] Marriage not saving

Hi @Midagere,

I'm moving this thread to the bug reports forum, this is an issue the team is aware of and investigating.

Sorry to read you are having this issue, as a workaround for now, you should be able to marry them if you move the future wife of your Sim to your house before marrying them. Or if you try to marry with another Sim from your neighborhood (those that don't have a blue plumbob in their head).

    Hi @jijaljoko @jeang105,

    Does the Sim you married appear in your family portrait? If so, it means they are part of the household already even if you can't control them - they have already moved in. You should see them around the house.

    If you want to control these Sims, then you would need to make them active from the family portrait - you need to have a free space for active Sims in the bottom side of your screen for this.

    Thanks,
    -Mai

    @jeang105, I feel a bit invisible :D  Did you mute me? 😉

    Does the spouse appear in the family portrait?

    @EA_Mai I have married my sim twice, before the update and after, but the spouse does not appear in the family portrait. They have children who do appear in the family portrait, though. Is it because the spouse has a blue plumbob over their head?

    Hi @tienle_111 @pri4321,

    @pri4321 Did marriage save this time?

    Yes, if a Sim doesn't appear in family portrait, it means they haven't moved in yet. If the Sim you married is owned by another player (blue plumbob), you will have to ask them to move in if you want them to live together 🙂

    Please, keep in mind for that your Sims need a relationship level 8 for you to be able to request them to move in, and the other player needs to accept request.

    Hope that helps, sorry for the wait!
