Re: [Fixed] Received a lot of money but can't spend it

This looks really weird, thanks for the screenshot and the details! I have merged two threads into one, so we have all information in the same place. Hope that answers your question as well, @SaphireandSteel: it's better if you answer an already existing thread if you are having the same issue, or use the 'Me too' button if you don't have anything to say but still want to help us know how many of you are experiencing the problem.

A question: does any of you remember or have screenshots of the Izzy item you sold?

I'm also suffering from the same issue, except that the currencies became randomly usable and I accidently and unknowingly bought 1 Monarch Sofa at 275 Simbucks (when I previously only had 4) I did this believing it was a simple bug and perhaps buying something would reset the counter but now it is once again unusable. Is there anyway to fix this?

As you can see in the screenshot all currencies are in billions like the other players here and that Monarch Sofa that I unknowingly bought with the bugged/compromised currency is in my storage, and also the numbers are the same with the tickets (and also the party cakes and cupcakes) only thing that isn't in billions is the Luxe Heirloom Tickets probably cause I had 0 before this incident occured.

I have tried contacting EA support 3 seperate times detailing the issue and seem to get nothing but automated responses, is there no way to restore the game back to the way it was previously and have that one Monarch Sofa removed from my account? As I would hate to have my account terminated over a misunderstanding or a possible compromise of my account that wasn't my fault as I've invested a lot of time and even money into this game since it's inital release in March.

Also no I have no screenshots of last Izzy item's I sold/deleted but it was three seperate Izzy items which may indicate that it's not just one specific type of Izzy clothing that is causing the issue, but rather more. Which is also on top of all the issues I'm having in my post above is stopping me from entering Izzy's Special Creations in the Sim Creator.

This happened to me at about 9pm last night, Monday 7th May.  I tried to sell two long skirts with the zig zag pattern on them that came early on in the first weeks of game but did not get the gems for them and then realised they were back in the izzy wardrobe waiting for me to wear so I tried again and sold them ok (I think as I cant check but I remember the gems went up so I think this worked second time round!)  I had gems so I used them to get two purchases, first worked fine, second was a duplicate of something I had, long sleeved light  grey plain top with rectangle down middle and clover/leaf symbol, sorry cant remember the titles but if you put up a picture I can probably identify it!  incidentally this is the first duplicate item I have had with izzys fashion house hence selling it!

I just tried to use the izzy fashion wardrobe to change the appearance of my sim just now and I hit the style tab but when I go to hit the tab for izzys special creations to pick an outfit to put on the  tab goes grey and the game crashes on me back to my home screen. This has been reported elsewhere in another forum!  tried several times and same result game crashes me out so maybe that is a clue where the glitch lies.  I cant play game because although I can send my sims to work to make some simoleons and click the pink tab when it comes up that is all I can do - cant buy anything and when I tried giving out stickers a pop up came up to invite me to buy sim cash! (Weird) The one thing I do notice with me is that whilst all the sim cash, simoleans and tickets are in the billions the one ticket that looks right is the gems number all the others including cup cakes and boosts are way out.  It almost looks like the figures I am seeing for these tickets etc are those I have spent already on the game or maybe need to spend to complete the game rather than representing what I currently have??????

In the meantime, we want to avoid more Simmers running into this situation. For this reason, we have just released an update for the game that will disable the option to delete Izzy's Creations until we can make sure deleting these items won't cause any problems.

While the team is focused on that, we are going to try to help you get back to your game.

If your Sims' bank accounts are overflowing or your game crashes when using Izzy features, please, get in contact with one of our advisers so they can take a look to your account and try to solve the issue for you.

Same with me. EA Help have forwarded to “specialist team “ and Case shows in progress still so I guess we just wait to hear until they’ve found the problem and figured out a fix for it or way to resolve issues Feeling a bit disappointed and disolutioned about it all now but guess there’ll be doing best to sort out and it would be nice to have an update on how this is going over next 24hours. I didn’t see an update come through for game in last 48  hours and have rechecked and nothing showing in ap updates and my devices and connections are all working fine... perhaps we were taken out of loop for this upate to remove Izzy sales but if anyone else has had update please post as nothing come to my iPod or iPad to update game since the one at beginning of may......

Please fix it soon as possible..

@KaitlynGraceArt, if your case was already sent to the specialist team, then no, no need to more messages because we already know you are having this issue and need help. Please, give them more time to get back to you, and thanks for asking!

@SaphireandSteel, no need to download an update from App Store or Google Play this time - it's a different kind of update. An easy way to check if your game is updated is opening Izzy's Creations menu in Create a Sim and see if you don't have the button to delete Izzy items.

If your game is instead crashing when using/deleting Izzy creations, there's no need for you to contact support as our advisers won't be able to help with this. As mentioned here: the game team also knows about the crashes. While they look into that, you should be able to keep playing as usual if you reopen the game.
